The first snowdrops of this year covered in a nice layer of snow. A couple of days later, the snow melted and the flowers started to open up.

Even more then snow, frost provides a layer of white magic to nature. Especially the winter damselflies look like they are from another world.

Photographing flying dragonflies is quite a challenge. This blue hawker kept flying around me, giving me enough time to shoot this photo.
